About the Project

Capacity
To serve a population of 230,000 with a capacity of 52,800 m3/day.

Process
The Çerkezköy plant applying advanced biological treatment processes is intended to remove pollutants such as carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus.

Objective
Tekirdağ Çerkezköy Wastewater Treatment Plant is intended to discharge domestic wastewater from Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, Karaağaç, Kızılpınar, and Veliköy municipalities of Tekirdağ province into the environment in accordance with international standards, using advanced biological and mechanical treatment methods, after the removal of pollutants such as carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus as well as physical pollutants. To save Ergene River and thus the Marmara Sea from pollution together with other treatment plants commissioned in the surrounding districts.

Districts
To treat all the wastewater from Çerkezköy, Kapaklı, Karaağaç, Kızılpınar, and Veliköy regions until the removal of nitrogen, carbon, and phosphorus.

Project scope

Project analysis, construction, commissioning, and operation of the turnkey Treatment Plant including construction for 1 year.
