3.1  High output SynRM motor drive packages

With the latest drive technology, high output synchronous reluctance (SynRM) motors allow efficient and powerful yet extremely compact motor-driven installations.

Up to two frame sizes smaller than conventional designs
Double output power without increasing motor size
Permanent magnet motor performance – without magnets
Induction motor levels of cost-efficiency and service-friendliness
Higher reliability through lower bearing temperatures
Preselected motor and drive packages up to 350 kW

3.2 IE4 SynRM motor drive packages

IE4 synchronous reluctance (SynRM) motors allow extremely efficient installations. Low running temperatures mean high reliability and low maintenance costs. Combining these motors with the latest drive technology and purpose-designed software ensures optimal efficiency and reliability. As seen from the following table, this set of motors has no rotor loss. In this sense, losses are reduced by 40%.

4.  ABB EX-Proof Motors

ABB M2JA motors for explosive atmospheres are the ultimate series commercially available off-the-shelf for simple and general applications. ABB is recognized for its high quality and motor features by system integrators and series machine builders. ABB M2JA series ex-proof motors have a level of protection rated “Ex d IIC T4”, designed for operation in potentially explosive areas.
